We have more spoilers (and a correction as well) regarding MLW’s Battle Riot III. According to Pwinsider, they had initially reported that Ashley Vox defeated Willow Nightingale. However, it was Nightingale who had picked up the victory, not Vox.
We also saw Cesar Duran appear and announced an agreement between he, MLW and Azteca Underground that would make Duran the booker/matchmaker for the company going forward. This announcement led to Jordan Oliver and Myron Reed coming down to ringside and asking for an MLW Tag Team Championship match. The duo were interrupted by the new LAX, consisting of Julius Smokes, Danny Limelight and Konnan.
Savio Vega and Tom Lawlor both reportedly appeared twice in the Battle Riot match. Vega worked as himself and as Kwang, the latter of which saw him spit blue mist in Blue Meanie’s face, while Lawlor appeared as LA Park after being eliminated. Lawlor also faced Alexander Hammerstone in a losing effort earlier in the night.
MLW will be back at the 2300 Arena (the site for MLW Battle Riot III) on October 2nd for “Fightland”. Tickets are currently on sale for this event.
