It was announced not too long ago that Sasha Banks would be making her first public appearance since walking out of WWE at the Chicago Fan Convention C2E2 next month. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion reportedly asked for $30,000 for non-WWE appearances. Many have wondered if Bank’s fellow tag partner, Naomi, would also appear at the event. WWE Hall of Famer Booker T even suggested that Naomi should do the same as Banks and charge a large amount of money for public appearances going forward. Well, it seems Naomi may have heeded Booker T’s advice.
The Chicago Convention announced that Naomi would join Banks at the event on Friday under her real name, Trinity Fatu. The convention is also promoting Banks under her real name, Mercedes Varnado.
There have been rumors of WWE looking to reconcile with the former Women’s Tag Team Champions. With Vince McMahon now retired and a change in leadership forming, perhaps the duo could possibly make a return someday. As of now, Banks and Naomi are still suspended indefinitely, with some reports claiming that Banks has already left the company.
