During Sunday night’s NWA 73 pay-per-view event, we saw a new NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion crowned as Trevor Murdoch defeated Nick Aldis in the main event. If Murdoch had lost the match, his career would have been over.
The win marks Murdoch’s first title reign with the NWA’s World Heavyweight Championship. Aldis’ second run with the NWA title ends at 1,044 days.
