Jim Ross recently revealed that his AEW contract is on the verge of expiration and his goal is to be healthy enough to call All In 2023 at Wembley Stadium.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Ross currently has two months left on his deal. There is currently no return timetable for Ross, but it’s believed he’ll be back on AEW Collision when he returns.

AEW filed a new trademark for the term ‘AEW Plus’ on July 24, which includes streaming services. The official filing is for goods and services, “streaming of professional wrestling entertainment video material on the Internet.”

AEW Plus is the name of the promotion’s international subscription service on FITE.

Olympic gold medalist Tamyra Mensah-Stock signed with WWE this past May.

The WON reports that Mensah-Stock is doing very well in her training, and the reports are ‘very strong’. According to a source, the young athlete is taking to wrestling ‘like a fish to water.’

And finally, the 2023 ROH Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view event took place on July 21, 2023, at the CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, New Jersey.

The pay-per-view numbers for this year’s show are down from last year, although only TV PPV numbers are currently available. ROH Death Before Dishonor 2023 had an estimated 3,800 TV PPV buys, up from Supercard Of Honor (3,300) and down 56.3% from last year’s event.

The July 21st event had an attendance of 2,898 people, promoted as the largest crowd ever for an ROH event in New Jersey.
