It was reported last month that AEW World Champion, Impact World Champion, and AAA Mega Champion Kenny Omega was “hurting pretty badly” from a couple different injuries.
At the time, it was reported Omega was dealing with an athletic hernia, a deep bone bruise near his tailbone, and general wear/tear on his knees. Omega said at the AEW Double or Nothing Fan Fest that there were days he considered retiring from wrestling, but the crowd made him push through.
Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Omega has been doing better. He’s done stem cell treatment and PRP (Platelet-rich plasma) therapy to help the hernia, which has made “a world of difference.”
