WWE announced on Monday that WrestleMania 36 has been moved from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida to the Performance Center due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Dave Meltzer provided an update as to why WWE decided to hold the show at their training facility during the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio.

With no one knowing when the coronavirus will be handled, Vince McMahon was not confident that at any time they’d be able to reschedule or postpone the event.

With the possibility that there could be no shows for months, McMahon felt they should get the show done already.

WWE holds the WrestleMania 36 pay-per-view event on Sunday, April 5, 2020 in Orlando, Florida at the WWE Performance Center.  The show will take place without any type of audience of fans in attendance.
