WWE originally planned for one Superstar to make his return on last week’s SmackDown. The show featured several matches, including a gauntlet match to decide the number one contender for Liv Morgan’s SmackDown Women’s Championship at Clash at the Castle.
Among the matches was a tag team bout between the Viking Raiders and two jobbers called Jim Pulkey & Tommy Gibson.
According to Fightful Select, Drew Gulak was originally supposed to be a part of this match, but plans were changed for an unknown reason.
Gulak has appeared infrequently on WWE programming over the past year, with his last TV match coming in May.
