Earlier today, Real1 threatened legal action over MLW releasing him.
The former WWE Superstar later followed up with a tweet expressing his gratefulness for the promotion and saying he had a good time there.
In another follow-up tweet, Real1 thanked MLW fans and apologized for missing Battle Riot V despite being advertised, further noting that he was never signed to an MLW contract.
Real1 posted a video afterward, stating that he wouldn’t “talk sh*t” and “bury” people before revealing that he was not informed about the MLW Title match against Alex Hammerstone at Battle Riot V on April 8th until he saw himself on the advertised graphic.
Real1 then contacted the “owner” of MLW and inquired him about the matter, who then (presumably referencing Court Bauer) issued him an apology. The “owner” mentioned wearing “too many hats” at MLW and being forgetful about Real1 apparently telling him that he never wanted to wrestle for the MLW World Championship.
Real1 added that MLW “played” the fans by advertising him even though he never agreed to work the match and restated that he was never under contract with MLW.
The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion then revealed that MLW had given him “creative direction to bury a guy who just beat cancer” which he didn’t want to do.
Since there was nothing left for Real1 to do in MLW, even considering the fact that he put over Microman on the way out, MLW wrote him off television.
Real1 then followed this up with another video in which he conveyed his disgust towards the creative direction of “burying a guy with cancer” and ripped Court Bauer for issuing a misleading statement that MLW fired him during WrestleMania weekend.
Real1 claimed that Bauer simply put the story out just to get media attention and headlines. The former WWE talent capped off by saying that he wouldn’t go to court as in legal action or sue Court Bauer.
