During the main event of Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the Young Bucks lost the AEW World Tag Team Titles in a triple threat tag-team match. In the end, it was Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland who came out on top to become new champions.
While fans have been clambering for a Young Bucks vs. FTR match with the AEW, AAA, NJPW and ROH tag titles on the line, that is not the current plan as of this writing.
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW is planning a ‘major angle’ for the Young Bucks in the coming weeks.
Several months ago, the company was planning to introduce trios titles. The idea was for The Young Bucks & Kenny Omega to go on to feud with Adam Cole & reDRagon. As of this writing, there is no word on if that will still be taking place.
