According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Radio, of the wrestlers that made their entrances prior to the show for the Dynamite Diamond battle royal on AEW Dynamite, John Silver got one of the biggest pops. When Silver was thrown out, he was booed loudly by the fans in the building.
The idea of having Matt Hardy be the one who threw Silver out was done on purpose. As many of you know, Matt Hardy is working a new heel gimmick and the company is trying to get that over so they had him throw out Isiah Kassidy and then Silver.
Orange Cassidy and Jungle Boy also got big pops when they were introduced before the show.
