John Cena appears to have donated $40,000 to Shad Gaspard’s GoFundMe account. The original fundraising goal was $100,000 and they are well above that. In just two days, over $135,000 has been raised. The $40,000 donation, which was from “CTC RIP”, appears to have been from Cena.
According to TMZ.com, Cena and Gaspard were extremely close friends. The “CTC” appears to be a reference to “Cryme Time Cenation” during the brief time the two were an on-screen alliance. Cena also posted a photo on his Instagram account of the time where he and Cryme Tyme wrecked JBL’s limo. AEW’s Tony Khan donated $10,000 and Chris Jericho donated another $5,000.
