As seen on Monday night’s episode of RAW, we saw Natalya and Rhea Ripley face off for the WWE World Women’s Championship in a physical match that was given a good amount of time. The finish of the bout saw Ripley retaining her championship, and WWE officials were reportedly “very happy” with how the match played out.
According to a report from Fightful Select, one higher-up in the company was so happy with the match that they said they would re-watch it several times and others should do the same.
As far as Ripley and Natalya are concerned, they took a beating in the match and were said to have been extremely happy with how things went down. They both told others backstage that they had a lot of fun during the bout. There was also a lot of praise given to the match by their peers.
Finally, it was noted that Ripley suffered an injury to her mouth during the bout.
