Rey Mysterio officially joined the SmackDown roster on Friday night.
Mysterio found Triple H backstage and said he can’t face his son Dominik on RAW, and tried quitting. Instead, Triple H worked things out with Mysterio to move him to Friday nights.
Later in the show, Mysterio was part of the Number One Contenders match for the Intercontinental Title, winning the match. He defeated Ricochet, Sheamus, and Solo Sikoa in the bout.
