WWE SmackDown Superstar Charlotte Flair is crushing her recovery from surgery, according to her father and two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair.
Flair suffered an injury on the December 9, edition of SmackDown and would undergo surgery earlier this month. She is expected to be out for nine months.
On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Ric Flair recalled conversations with Charlotte’s medical consultant. He said,
“I was speaking with Dr. Dugan. He’s been there 30 years. He said Ashley [Charlotte] is one of the top three athletes that they have ever done surgery on. Think about that. We’re talking Bo Jackson. We’re talking, I mean, I can go down the list of people.“
“The Tommy John’s. He said we consider her one of the top three athletes, not wrestlers, to ever come through the doors.”
Earlier this week, Charlotte shared a photo of herself on a treadmill. We continue to wish the younger Flair a full and speedy recovery.
