Cody Rhodes’ dream to become the next Undisputed WWE Universal Champion ended in the main event of WrestleMania 39.
In an emotional bout, Rhodes gave his all in the main event of WrestleMania: Sunday, but the numbers of the Bloodline proved to be too much for the American Nightmare.
After Solo Sikoa had been ejected from the ringside area for interfering, The Usos made their presence felt but were dispatched of by Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
Thanks to some interference by Paul Heyman and the re-emergence of Sikoa, Reigns’ historic tenure as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion continued.
