It has now been confirmed per a report from Fightful that Sami Zayn is indeed locked down for several more years with WWE.
TVA Sports had reported that Zayn’s deal was set to expire in late 2021 around the same time as Kevin Owens’ contract. However, following Owens re-signing, rumors began to circulate that Zayn would also remain with WWE. This has now been confirmed. One person noted that Zayn was very private regarding the negotiations but re-signed after WWE made it clear they wanted to keep him for the foreseeable future. Though it should be noted the exact length of Sami Zayn’s new deal is not known as of the time of writing.
In recent times, Sami Zayn has been involved in a feud with Jackass star Johnny Knoxville, with the pair both set to take part in the Royal Rumble match.
This January marked Zayn’s ninth year with the company, there was however interest in Zayn before he re-signed from both ROH (pre-hiatus) and AEW.
