Seth Rollins is perhaps the most popular he’s ever been with WWE fans, and he won’t be taking those fans for granted.

The reigning World Heavyweight Champion often evokes some of the loudest responses on WWE TV, thanks in part to his very popular theme song.

Speaking recently on the “Out of Character” podcast, Rollins spoke about WWE crowds before the pandemic and the feeling at the time that some fans didn’t want to be there. He said,

“They’re having fun [today] and that’s the name of the game. I feel like it’s really been that way for a couple of years with our audiences. I thought there was a period of time when some of the crowds we’d go to, and I’d be like, ‘Man, you sure you wanted to come to the show? You spend a lot of money to come to the show. You sure you came to have a good time?’

“But lately, probably since we came back from the pandemic, people are not taking it for granted anymore, because for a year-and-a-half, we didn’t get to do that, you know? We didn’t know if we were ever going to be able to do it again.”

Later in the interview, Rollins stated that he, the wrestlers, and the fans themselves are not “taking things for granted anymore.”

Rollins became the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at WWE Night of Champions 2023 and retained against Finn Balor at WWE Money in the Bank 2023 in London.
