The WWE NXT roster was left worse for wear after this week’s ‘Spring Breakin’ episode of the gold brand went off the air.
During a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez reported that Sol Ruca, Grayson Waller, and Indi Hartwell all suffered injuries during the show. He said,
“I don’t know the extent of all of them. But I can tell you that Sol Ruca does have some sort of injury. That’s why they did that angle. Grayson Waller did get hurt in his match which led directly to the finish. Indi Hartwell also got injured in her match, three in one show. I did hear from somebody yesterday that was like, ‘you know man they just have these guys do all this crazy stuff and no wonder everybody’s hurt all the time.’
“What happened with Indi and with Grayson Waller is just one those things where something went wrong but it was not anything where you would think that anything would go wrong.”
During Hartwell’s NXT Women’s Championship defense against Roxanne Perez and Tiffany Stratton, the champion tweaked her leg when taking a splash by Stratton to the outside.
Hartwell was taken to the back by the medical team but later returned to retain her championship.

Sol Ruca was attacked outside the WWE Performance Center during Spring Breakin’ while Grayson Waller came up short against NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes.
