Georgia Bulldogs softball player Jaiden Fields has spoken about her decision to sign a next-in-line deal with WWE, a company she had little interest in until recently.
Fields signed her NIL deal with the promotion in January of this year as part of a total of 15 signings.
During a recent appearance on “Walk & Talk,” Fields recalled speaking to Triple H at a NIL program summit last summer. She said,
“He was there and he introduced the first NIL class that they had, and they played a video and it was the first thing I’ve ever seen of the WWE. And I was like, ‘Wow, that’s really cool and something that I’d be interested in.”
When asked if she plans to pursue professional wrestling after her softball career ends, Fields said,
“Maybe. Who knows? I never really pictured myself doing something like that, but I’m open to it. So, we’ll see.”
Fields added that she plans on attending WWE Summerslam 2023 this August in Detroit Michigan.
