At the end of Tuesday night’s episode of WWE NXT, Bron Breakker challenged WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins to make a return to the brand for a match against him.
Over the last year, WWE has used main roster stars such as AJ Styles, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, Johnny Gargano, R-Truth, Mustafa Ali, and Baron Corbin in NXT to help younger talent and boost ratings.
While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer pointed out that WWE President Nick Khan has publicly talked about the strategy of sending main roster stars to NXT to boost ratings to further demand a higher media rights price.
