AEW President Tony Khan is comin’ in hot with his major announcements these days.
Following this week’s AEW Dynamite TV tapings in Long Island, New York, Khan came out to address the live crowd. As Tony was thanking the fans for coming to the show, he confirmed that AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam and AEW Rampage: Grand Slam will be returning to Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, NY later this year.
While “TK” didn’t announce an official date for the TV tapings, the previous two Grand Slam events have taken place in September.
Less than an hour earlier, Tony Khan announced that for the first time in the history of All Elite Wrestling, the company will be coming to the UK on August 27 for its All In 2023 pay-per-view event. The show will take place at Wembley Stadium, which can hold over 80,000 fans for pro wrestling. Tickets for the event will be going on sale in May.
