WWE is seeking to secure approximately $400 million annually in rights fees for Monday Night RAW, as their current TV agreement with the USA Network will expire in the fall of 2024.

Recently, WWE explored potential partnerships with various networks, including Amazon Prime, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Disney’s FX. While initial discussions with Warner Bros. Discovery appeared to have stalled, they’re said to not be dead, especially considering CM Punk’s return to WWE.

WWE had a meeting with Warner Bros. Discovery just a month ago.

It is believed that Punk’s involvement may have reopened what seemed like a done deal. The NBA’s television deal has had a lasting impact on discussions for WWE and AEW and networks regarding media rights fees.

According to a report from Pwinsider, TKO’s Mark Shapiro, Nick Khan, and Triple H went to Warner Bros. Discovery headquarters in New York City this past Monday for an extensive meeting with WBD executive Bruce Campbell to discuss RAW’s media rights. The meeting lasted for several hours.

AEW has a TV deal with Warner Bros. Discovery that extends until the end of 2024.
