Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite ended with Daniel Garcia defeating Wheeler Yuta for the ROH Pure Championship.
Following the show, Garcia addressed his hometown crowd in Buffalo, New York.
Chris Jericho screamed at Garcia that he was a “sports entertainer,” while the crowd chanted “wrestler.”
After Jericho left, Yuta and Bryan Danielson raised Garcia’s hand, and rapper Westside Gunn came out to hug Garcia.
Getting on the mic, Garcia talked about what an important night this was for AEW, and that he and Yuta wanted to show the people that they should be focused on the wrestling – nothing else.
