As we previously reported here on eWn, WWE alumnus and Portland Wrestling icon Billy Jack Haynes was arrested on February 8th in Portland, OR after police responded to reports of a shooting. Once they entered the home after getting Haynes to come out several hours later, they found the body of Janette Becraft.
On February 28th, Haynes was charged with Murder in the Second Degree and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. The charges were filed after his release from the hospital. Haynes was hospitalized following his arrest due to a “a medical condition unrelated to the homicide or his contact with law enforcement.”
Pwinsider is reporting that Haynes received a trial date of April 11th when he was arraigned last Thursday.
Haynes is currently being held at the Multnomah County Detention Center.
