The fifth season of Vice TV’s “Dark Side of The Ring” finishes tonight at 10:00 PM EST, with the latest episode looking at Black Saturday.
The official synopsis reads as follows, “The day that has gone down in infamy as the launch of Vince McMahon’s absolute takeover of the professional wrestling industry, Black Saturday changed wrestling forever.”
On July 14, 1984, millions of loyal viewers tuned into WTBS to watch World Championship Wresting. But instead of a show featuring stars of the NWA, fans were shocked by the appearance of Vince McMahon.
