As we previously reported here on eWn, Scott D’Amore, the former TNA President, has filed a trademark application for the name “Maple Leaf Wrestling.”
Notably, the Tunney family ran this promotion during the 70s and 80s.
D’Amore’s Border City Wrestling shares the same corporate address mentioned in the filing.
Additionally, on May 6, Maple Leaf Wrestling filed for another trademark application, this time for the name “Grand Prix Wrestling.”
This name was also used for a former promotion Emile Dupree ran for several decades in Canada.
