WWE Money in the Bank as a Premium Live Event may become a thing of the past as part of the promotion’s new regime.

WWE held its first Money in the Bank show in 2010 and held its first women’s Money in the Bank ladder match in 2017.

WrestleVotes reports that they have heard discussions of ending WWE Money in the Bank as a show, and moving the matches back to WrestleMania.

“Putting Money in the Bank on WrestleMania, one night women’s and one night men’s is something I’ve heard. I know since Hunter has taken over, the idea of one night women and one night men is alive.”

WWE’s first six Money in the Bank ladder matches took place at WrestleMania 21 to 26, and saw Edge, RVD, Mr. Kennedy, CM Punk and Jake Hager win the briefcase.

This news comes after reports that WWE is moving away from stipulation events, with the annual Hell in a Cell show considered “completely dead.”
