Mansoor vs. Mustafa Ali was booked at this year’s WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view event. The following is the play-by-play coverage of the match:
Ali got on the early offense and beat him down for the majority of the match including a spot where Ali ripped the apron skirt underneath Mansoor and he landed back first on the apron. Mansoor made a brief comeback and went for an outside dive, but was taken out.
Ali missed a dive off the top rope, but Mansoor moved and tossed Ali into the corner. Mansoor hit a moonsault for a near fall. Mansoor got to the bottom rope when Ali put him in a submission hold. Mansoor went over with his finisher.
Post-match, Ali attacked Mansoor. Saudi Arabian Olympic athlete Tareg Hamedi came out and kicked Ali in the head.
