WWE Files Motions In Response To WrestleMania 38 Injury Lawsuit

WWE has filed two motions in response to the lawsuit filed by Marvin Jackson over hearing loss suffered at WrestleMania 38.

Pwinsider is reporting that the first motion was filed on February 16th, requesting that the suit be moved to the United States District Court for the Northern District of TexasFort Worth Division.

The second motion was filed on February 24th, asking for the situation to be moved to arbitration. WWE argued that fans have to check boxes before buying tickets online, thereby agreeing to the terms and provisions, which include agreements to enter arbitration over legal disputes. WWE is requesting the Honorable Court to halt the lawsuit until arbitration has played out.

Marvin Jackson is currently seeking over $1,000,000 in relief including all damages, penalties, costs, expenses, prejudgment interest, and legal attorney’s fees.
