According to a report from Pwinsider, WWE held an ‘all hands on deck’ meeting yesterday as Stephanie McMahon acknowledged the investigation pertaining to her father and former WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon. Vince stepped down as the Chairman and CEO of WWE last week, with Stephanie taking over both roles. Vince is now being investigated for an alleged payment he made to an employee that he allegedly had an affair with, which resulted in Vince paying the employee approximately $3 million as “hush money.”
Stephanie said that “everyone” is aware of the investigation by the WWE Board of Directors, and said that her father has “stepped back.” Stephanie added that she loves her father and WWE, and is willing to do anything and everything for WWE moving forward. Stephanie has been “actively involved” in meetings that would have had her father involved in the past.
