As we previously reported here on eWn, it appeared Theory would be returning as Austin Theory based on the fact that he was advertised for upcoming WWE live events with his old name.
That is indeed the case, as Pwinsider has confirmed that he will be using his full name going forward.
He is the second RAW star to get his first name back this week, as it was announced during Monday’s RAW that Riddle will also now be using his full name.
Vince McMahon shortening names has been done for several years for various reasons. He also previously had an edict about wrestlers not being allowed to use their real names or ring names they had before signing with WWE.
