On February 10, 2023, Ronda Rousey made her return to WWE TV on SmackDown, helping Shayna Baszler attack Natalya.
Natalya had been trying to goad Baszler into a confrontation by calling her a knockoff version of Rousey. Upon Ronda’s arrival, she feigned a confrontation with Baszler before both attacked Natalya.
Shotzi briefly tried to make the save, but both former MMA fighters would attack her.
As part of the attack, Baszler hit Natalya with the same knee brace that previously broke her nose.
A tag team match pitting Rousey and Baszler against Natalya and Shotzi has been announced for next week’s episode of WWE SmackDown.
This was Rousey’s first appearance since she dropped the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Charlotte Flair on December 30, 2022, in what was Flair’s surprise return after more than seven months.
