As of two hours ago, the WWE crew had arrived at the airport in Saudi Arabia and were preparing to fly back to the United States. With that being said, some of the behind-the-scenes crew will be staying behind to dismantle the set and will be returning to the United States next week.
According to Pwinsider, several WWE staff members were said to have been “amazed” at how far WWE has come with the way their women are presented during the Saudi Arabia events. Some of you may recall that it originally started with the women wearing oversized t-shirts. Today, multiple matches with women featured colorful and tight ring gear but still respected the local laws. For those unaware, the country of Saudi Arabia has a lot of rules, especially as it pertains to women. They are required to have their arms and legs covered at all times. Additionally, there is no drinking of alcohol beverages in public.
