AJ Styles and Tama Tonga are no strangers to each other as they were part of the Bullet Club in NJPW before Styles went to WWE in 2016. Tonga is now a free agent after departing from NJPW.
While appearing on a recent edition of the “Battleground Podcast,” Styles was asked about Tama’s prospects should he come to WWE. He said,
“The sky is the limit. This guy can get after it. I know how good Tama is. The fact that he may be coming over would be awesome. I was hoping he would come over a long time ago, but he didn’t have any interest back then. If there is interest now, he’s making the right decision.”
