Fightful Select has shared some backstage notes from last night’s episode of WWE NXT, including how WWE is dealing with negative chants about Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

WWE currently has no mandate on how to deal with the negative reactions, and it’s being dealt with depending on the situation.

For instance, negative fan chants were muted during Ava Raine’s segment on NXT.

The upcoming double taping for NXT and SmackDown next week is due to WWE heading to Perth, Australia for Elimination Chamber 2024.

Several talents as well as key people from the production team will be unavailable for a live episode.

Byron Saxton will be Booker T’s replacement until he returns to the NXT commentary team.

There have been no talks of CM Punk joining the announcers booth and he isn’t expected to be at the WWE Performance Center over the next few weeks.

Ace Steel’s recent comments about Punk were simply his suggestion and not reflective of anything WWE is planning.

As we reported last night here on eWn, fans at the WWE Performance Center were asked not to curse or throw up their middle fingers during Carmelo Hayes’ segment.

Hayes was originally set to use the chair he used at NXT Vengeance Day 2024, but it didn’t arrive on time.

And finally, Jay Malachi, who performs under the ring name Je’Von Evans, has impressed NXT officials.
