Fightful Select has shared some backstage news and notes from this week’s episode of WWE NXT.
William Regal was absent from the week’s TV tapings despite being added to the NXT roster.
Regal appeared on NXT TV earlier this month and confronted the No Quarter Catch Club about their Heritage Cup victory.
Additionally, Dijak’s response to Josh Briggs calling him a wannabe Shaft was unscripted.
In response to the quip, Dijak said, “I don’t know if you can see this, bro, but I’m white.”
Dijak’s dialogue was off-the-cuff and made everyone laugh backstage.
Last but not least, the internal title for the March 19th episode of WWE NXT was “My Mind’s Playing Tricks On Me.”
