Corey Graves took to Twitter to share his emotions on journeying across the globe to Australia for WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth. He tweeted,

“When I can’t sleep, I write. I am writing this 13 hours in the future from the rest of my life…

We are mothers and fathers. Husbands and wives. Superheroes and rockstars. Athletes and lost souls. Longing for home, yet already there. Bound by a singular passion. A passion that uniquely differs for all who possess it. Different motivations. Different experiences. A transient family. The circus, really.

The passion is tangible. The most remote city on earth, alive with excitement. Weary travelers, putting on their best faces for a common good.

It’s not perfect. It never will be. It is the island of athletically gifted, misfit toys. Gathered together for a different type of mass.

In a few hours, reality returns. Bills, business, diapers. Missed weddings. Forgotten birthdays.

But for those 3 hours. Oh man, those 3 hours.

Tens of thousands of rabid souls. Fans and performers, spilling their guts for one another. A communal catharsis.

For 3 hours, magic is real.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 takes place on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia, marking WWE’s first event to be held in Australia since Super Showdown in October 2018.

On a recent edition of Tony Schiavone’s “What Happened When” podcast, former WWE Superstar Hornswoggle shared his fond memories of his WeeLC match with El Torito.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On the match surprising people: “Everyone was denying it, everyone was thinking it was going to be such a joke. It was the only standing ovation, at that point, I’d ever gotten back in gorilla. To have Vince and everyone standing for it was pretty awesome, just a cool moment to have.”

On working with El Torito in the match: “They always said, the last thing they wanted to do is have him and I work with each other because, “That’s just too easy,’ well no s**t, obviously. So why not do it?”

On his love of the match: “We struck gold that night and it was awesome, it’s the best match I ever had and ever will have. It’s one of those moments where I’ll always remember it.”
