While we still don’t know the official location for next year’s WrestleMania 41 pay-per-view event, WWE President Nick Khan has shed some light on where the Showcase of Immortals may be held.
While speaking at the SBJ World Congress of Sports convention on Wednesday, Khan revealed that Las Vegas, NV is in play to host the event.
According to a report from Arash Markazi of The Sporting Tribune, Khan announced that next year’s pay-per-view event would not go up against the NCAA Men’s Final Four and that Las Vegas was one of the cities under consideration for the show. Additionally, Khan said that next year’s event would likely not be in an “outdoor East coast stadium again.”
The WWE President also announced that the “Big Four” pay-per-view events — WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series and the Royal Rumble — will continue to be held in the United States and Canada for the foreseeable future. Any of the other pay-per-view events have the potential to be held internationally.
WWE president Nick Khan wasn’t ready to announce the location of WrestleMania in 2025 just yet but he said you can assume it won’t be in an outdoor East coast stadium again and it won’t go head-to-head with the Final Four again. Las Vegas is one of the cities under consideration.
