The scandal that has resulted in Vince McMahon stepping down from WWE & TKO is just the tip of the iceberg, according to Paul London.
McMahon resigned last week following a lawsuit by Janel Grant, an ex-WWE employee who alleges that McMahon was sexually abusive and trafficked her to other men.
On a recent edition of the “Cafe de Rene” podcast, London addressed the matter and he believes that what has transpired so far is merely scratching the surface. He said,
“I’m not surprised by any of it. I wouldn’t say I called it but I mean, this is the tip of the iceberg. This is the tip of the iceberg, you know? Hopefully, more people will come forward and add credibility to what’s already been revealed. You’ve got to think that for the Wall Street Journal to go as in-depth as they did, I don’t know, [I’m] anxious to see what happens.”
London was previously in a relationship with the late Ashley Massaro, who had alleged that she was sexually assaulted on a U.S. military base during a WWE tour of Kuwait.
Massaro alleged that WWE apologized but persuaded her not to report it to the authorities. After she died in 2019, WWE executives said they were not informed of the allegations.
