Sean “X-Pac” Waltman recently appeared for a Q&A session at the “For The Love of Wrestling” convention, where he discussed WWE’s infamous “Plane Ride From Hell.”

For those unaware, the 2002 flight following the Insurrextion pay-per-view event in the UK involved a flight filled with talents and staff who were highly intoxicated. This is the same flight that resulted in the allegations of sexual assault being levied against Ric Flair as he was accused of exposing himself to flight attendants and forcing them to touch his private area. A lawsuit against WWE regarding that incident wound up being settled out of court.

Waltman said, “So much of that stuff… I’m going, oh my god, I had no idea that happened. I thought I was the real bad boy on that flight. I smoked a little pot in the bathroom and cut Michael Hayes’ hair. And that was nothing, apparently.”

He continued, “Honestly, that was my memory. And a little bit of Ric [Flair] going down the aisle in his robe.”

Mojo Rawley says Megan Thee Stallion was originally planned to appear at WWE SummerSlam.

Speaking on a recent edition of Mandy Rose & Tino Sabatelli’s “Power Alphas” podcast, Rawley commented on meeting the rapper at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards, and Stallion’s planned WWE SummerSlam appearance with Mercedes Mone (Sasha Banks). He said,

“We went out there for the Crunchyroll Anime awards. Mercedes Mone is a massive anime fan, so we were trying to find something for her in that world and Crunchyroll is essentially the Netflix of Anime. I had no idea the world out there, the scope of the anime community. We got Mercedes on, she’s going to be doing some exciting work with Crunchyroll. One of the things was to go to their anime awards and be a presenter.”

He continued, “Megan Thee Stallion was there, she was sitting at the table next to us. I didn’t realize, but I guess she was going to do something with Mercedes at WWE SummerSlam in years previous, and it just never materialized and fell through for one reason or another. We all know how those situations can go and they get crazy. She was cool. She is tall. I didn’t realize how tall she was. That was the first thing she said. She stood up, ‘Ya’ll didn’t realize how tall ya girl was.’ I was like, ‘Nope, I definitely didn’t.’”
