NJPW made their return with ‘New Japan Road’ live from Tokyo, Japan at Korakuen Hall.
During the main event, Taiji Ishimori defeated Hiromu Takahashi to retain the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship. Following the match, former WWE NXT Superstar KUSHIDA returned to NJPW and confronted Ishimori.

* Los Ingobernables De Japon (Tetsuya Naito, Shingo Takagi, SANADA & BUSHI) beat Kosei Fujita, Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Togi Makabe & Kazuchika Okada at 7:24.
* AEW All-Atlantic Championship Qualifier: Tomohiro Ishii beat Clark Connors at 13:21 to advance in the tournament.
* IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship: Taiji Ishimori (c) beat Hiromu Takahashi at 36:20 to retain the title.
* After the match, KUSHIDA made his return to New Japan and confronted Ishimori.
