WWE Backlash: France took place earlier today at the LDLC Arena in Décines-Charpieu in the Metropolis of Lyon, France.
The post-WrestleMania 40 pay-per-view event featured five matches on the card with one major title change.
Following the show, WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque took to social media to congratulate the current titleholders.

Meanwhile, Drew McIntyre threw a jab at Damian Priest, who successfully defended the World Heavyweight Title against Jey Uso at WWE Backlash: France.
McIntyre tweeted, “BS Champ. BS Number One contender. BS Tactics. BS Finish. BS Theatrics.”
Priest captured the WWE World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 40 by cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase on McIntyre, who initially won the title from Seth Rollins.
