During Saturday’s WWE Backlash: France pay-per-view event, fans in Lyon chanted the name of former United States Champion Baron Corbin.
Corbin acknowledged the chants in a Twitter post and expressed his intention to personally visit France next time. He tweeted,
“I hear everyone in France chanting my name from fl. I wish I was there in person to experience it again, It was the coolest night of my career! My people for life!!! Keep sending me videos! Next time I will be there and we will make the walls crumble!!”
Notably, the last time Corbin performed in France, he was met with a warm reception from the crowd.
