  • Ilja Dragunov kicked off the show calling out Carmelo Hayes, who was ready with security drawing a line between the two as he stayed around the stage. Hayes isn’t going to get into the ring until there’s a contract. This naturally turned into a fight.
  • Backstage, Ava was approached by Gigi Dolin. They went into Ava’s office, where Jaida Parker was waiting for Ava, also wanting to talk to her. After some verbal barbs, a match is set for later.
  • Kiana James defeated Kelani Jordan by pinfall with some help from Izzi Dame.
  • Last Tuesday, Roxanne Perez and Jakara Jackson got into a fight in the locker room over Lash Legend taking advantage of the impromptu open challenge to Lyra Valkyria, which is why they’re fighting tonight.
  • Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson defeated Edris Enofé and Malik Blade by pinfall. After the match, Chase U came out from the crowd, followed by Axiom and Nathan Frazer, then, LWO’s Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde. Everyone wanted to go after The Good Brothers, who hightailed it. The Wolf Dogs then looked on at the fracas.
  • Oba Femi wants to know who his next victim is. Ava said she’s still working on that. Dragunov then came into Ava’s office, had a stare down with Femi, and told Ava they need to talk.
  • Roxanne Perez defeated Jakara Jackson by submission.
  • Thea Hail told Jazmyn Nyx and Jacy Jayne that Riley Osborne told her the version of her on their date wasn’t the one he was interested in, as he was expecting her old bubbly self, so they should just be friends. Jayne and Nyx told Hail that she used to be a loser and she’s better off without him. Hail mentioned that Fallon Henley said she should be herself and they called Henley a moron in response to Hail’s comment. Jayne touted herself saving Chase U. Kiana James and Izzi Dame then came over to talk about how great of a business decision the calendar was and they walked off together badmouthing Henley as Hail lamented being called a loser.
  • Backstage, The Wolf Dogs were approached by The Good Brothers, who are in NXT to become champions. Baron Corbin said it was funny to see AJ Styles slap Karl Anderson in the face last week. Bron Breakker reminded them that they’re all fun and games, but when the bell rings, the dogs come out.
  • Dijak defeated Luca Crusifino by pinfall. Joe Gacy, having broken out of his straitjacket, comes out to attack Dijak. Meanwhile, Crusifino put a crowbar behind the steel steps to likely set something up for later.
  • The D’Angelo Family was watching backstage. Tony D’Angelo told Stacks to “go get him”, but not now, as he has more important things to take care of at the moment.
  • Noam Dar told Kelly Kincaid that he’s ready for any member of No Quarter Catch Crew tonight.
  • Lyra Valkyria wishes Shotzi a speedy recovery and will give her a title shot when she’s back. She shouts out Lash Legend for stepping up. Valkyria then calls out Tatum Paxley to make good on what she said before about rewarding Paxley for not interfering. The surprise is that they’re going to have a tag team match next week against The Kabuki Warriors for the tag titles. Ridge Holland then interrupted to ask them to leave so he could get something important off his chest. He isn’t going to apologize for always taking it too far, like he did with Gallus last week, as he was just defending himself and his family with no malice behind it. He’s then interrupted by the lights going out and the words that have been teased for the past few weeks popping up on the screens. “The truth will ultimately prevail, but there is pain bringing it to light.” Holland is then attacked from behind with a steel chair, revealing Shawn Spears is back!!
  • Brooks Jensen approached Oba Femi and challenged him to a match to prove himself.
  • Von Wagner defeated Lexis King by pinfall. King went after Wagner some more after the match. Mr. Stone tried to help, but got taken out by King for his efforts.
  • In the locker room, Valkyria and Paxley were watching a vignette about The Kabuki Warriors. Jaida Parker approached to say she’s going to kick Dolin’s ass in a minute, but Kabuki Warriors are going to embarrass Lyra and Tatum next week. Arianna Grace, wearing her Miss NXT sash, tried to argue that people shouldn’t be fighting and they’re all winners in their own ways.
  • Dijak was arguing with Ava backstage when he was attacked again by Gacy.
  • Jaida Parker defeated Gigi Dolin by pinfall in part due to an unintentional distraction from Arianna Grace, who was trying to get them to stop fighting and caught a stiff shot from Dolin for being out there.
  • Footage of “see you soon” written on a beach popped up, advertised for NXT Roadblock next week. Gacy and Dijak will go at it again next week, too.
  • Charlie Dempsey defeated Noam Dar to win the NXT Heritage Cup!
  • Dragunov and Hayes have effectively a contract signing. Tony D’Angelo interrupts to say he’s going to earn a title match for Stand & Deliver and takes the third chair. Ava apparently agrees. Next week at Roadblock, Hayes against D’Angelo in a No. 1 contender’s match. Hayes wants Dragunov to just give him the title shot and to bypass the match with D’Angelo. Dragunov agrees to the D’Angelo match, though, as he wants to see Hayes earn it and is hoping Tony whoops Melo. A scuffle ensues where D’Angelo inadvertently hits Dragunov and Melo puts D’Angelo through the table.
