Welcome to another edition of WWE Recap Report — a breakdown of the biggest takeaways of the week from WWE programming for those who may have missed out.
Whether you need to catch up on a show, had too busy of a week to stay on top of the breaking news or just skipped out on WWE as a whole, I’ve got you covered.
Obviously, not every single thing will be recapped here in detail. But this is your TL;DR of the week to be caught up to speed before the next Monday Night Raw so you’re not left in the dark.
With that being said, here is a quick rundown of this week in WWE.
MONDAY NIGHT RAW
- Bianca Belair defeated Doudrop by pinfall.
- Finn Balor defeated Austin Theory by pinfall.
- MizTV: The Miz spilled the beans that Omos thinks AJ Styles is holding him back.
- Dominik and Rey Mysterio defeated AJ Styles and Omos by pinfall. After the match, Styles and Omos fought.
- Randy Orton defeated Chad Gable by pinfall.
- Tamina was on the hunt for Dana Brooke’s 24/7 Championship. Reggie, R-Truth and Akira Tozawa scuffling caused a bit of a distraction and Tamina wound up not able to pin Brooke before the champ ran off with Reggie.
- Dolph Ziggler defeated Damian Priest by count-out.
- Austin Theory attacked Finn Balor backstage during an interview. Vince McMahon wasn’t too impressed.
- Cutting Edge: Maryse was Edge’s guest. She spoke about how arrogant and self-absorbed The Miz is and how she wants a “thank you” for all she’s done. Edge didn’t buy the act and knew it was a setup, but he still fell to The Miz and Maryse.
- Rhea Ripley defeated Queen Zelina Vega by pinfall.
- Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch talked trash about/to each other.
- Big E and Bobby Lashley defeated Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins by pinfall.
NXT
- The show started with a promo from Tommaso Ciampa. Bron Breakker came out, but Ciampa didn’t let him speak, as he said everything Breakker was going to say about how he’s earned a title shot and such. Breakker wasn’t intimidated
- Street Fight: Raquel Gonzalez defeated Dakota Kai by pinfall. Raquel got a microphone afterward to say she wants a title match right now and she’s not leaving until she gets it. Commercial break. Cora Jade came out to say she wants Toxic Attraction to pay for what they did to her arm. Toxic Attraction then came out and Mandy Rose said it’ll be a Triple Threat for New Year’s Evil. Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne then took out Jade and Gonzalez.
- Joe Gacy and Harland issued an apology for what Harland did to Brian Kendrick last week.
- The Creed Brothers vs Grizzled Young Veterans was a no-contest as they brawled with Brooks Jensen & Josh Briggs and Jacket Time.
- Dexter Lumis defeated Trick Williams by submission. Grayson Waller attacked Dexter Lumis after the match. AJ Styles came out to talk some trash back and forth with Waller and challenge him to a fight. Waller opted to walk away instead.
- MSK’s latest thing with Riddle was that he told them to challenge Imperium next week and that he’d be there for it. In an interview later, Imperium said MSK may have a shaman, but they have a general.
- Edris Enofe beat Von Wagner with a quick pin out of nowhere. Wagner then beat down Enofe after the match and brushed past Robert Stone, who was looking on.
- Io Shirai defeated Elektra Lopez by pinfall due in part to a distraction by Xyon Quinn, who had mistletoe and almost kissed Lopez until Santos Escobar pulled him away.
- Diamond Mine had challenged Carmelo Hayes to a match against Roderick Strong with both titles on the line. Hayes accepted for New Year’s Evil.
- Next week, Brian Kendrick will face Harland, there will be a contract signing for the title unification match, Dexter Lumis will face Grayson Waller, and Cora Jade will team with Raquel Gonzalez to face Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne.
- Pete Dunne defeated Tony D’Angelo by pinfall.
MAIN EVENT
- Commander Azeez & Apollo Crews defeated Akira Tozawa & R-Truth
- Veer Mahaan defeated T-Bar
NXT UK
- This was a clip show.
FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN
- 12 Days of Christmas Gauntlet Match: Angel Garza beat Mansoor, then Erik. Shanky beat Garza and lost to Ivar, who lost to Sheamus, who then beat Drew Gulak and Cesaro before losing to Ricochet, who beat Jinder Mahal and lost the match to Sami Zayn, the full winner. Zayn will face Shinsuke Nakamura for the Intercontinental Championship at WWE Day 1.
- Charlotte Flair retained the SmackDown Women’s Championship over Toni Storm by pinfall.
- Miracle on 34th Street Fight: Drew McIntyre and The New Day defeated Riddick Moss and The Usos by pinfall.

- Ivy Nile defeated Fallon Henley by submission.
- Andre Chase defeated Damon Kemp by pinfall.
- Solo Sikoa defeated Ru Feng by pinfall.
