Impact Wrestling Results (10/21/2021)
#1. FinJuice vs. Bullet Club, Chris Bey & Hikuleo — Winners: Dusty Finish
– Scott D’Amore tells the teams he will figure out who will face The Good Brothers at Bound For Glory and let them know.
– We get a long video package telling us who Josh Alexander is and how he feels going to the main event at Bound For Glory against Christian Cage for the Impact World title.
#2. Fallah Bahh & Jordynne Grace vs. John Skyler & Tenille Dashwood vs. Crazzy Steve & Chelsea Green — Winners: John Skyler & Tenille Dashwood
Heath tries getting through to Rhino, but he’s not talking. He loves his best friend, and his family misses Uncle Rhino, who then flashes a smile. Violent By Design enters. Eric Young says VBD is forever, and you don’t walk away from it. Rhino made a promise to him, they are his family now. Heath says this isn’t family, don’t do it. Young opened his eyes and showed him the truth. He made Rhino in to his purest form.
Heath says he is brainwashed and can’t think for himself. Young says he only listens to him. Deaner cheap shots Heath after he pushes Young, and Rhino stands there watching on. Eventually, he throws Deaner off with one arm. He gets ready to gore his best friend Heath. Young encourages him, but Rhino slips out under the rope and leaves. Heath continues to fight, but the numbers game is too much. Young smashes the flag pole around the back of Heath’s head and knocks him out.
#3. [Pick Your Poison] Mickie James vs. Savannah Evans (w/ Tasha Steelz) — Winner: Mickie James
Matt Rehwoldt attacks Mickie James on Deonna Purrazzo’s behalf, as they aren’t supposed to touch. Still, Purrazzo grabs an unconscious Mickie’s hair and shoves her head down.
– Scott D’Amore gets in Purrazzo’s face about what just happened. He bans Rehwoldt from ringside at Bound For Glory, or he will be suspended forever. Scott could strip Deonna of the title, as she did technically break the agreement. However, they don’t want this settled on a technicality, he would rather see Mickie James beat her at the PPV.
– Brian Myers is grilling The Learning Tree. He’s not happy about VSK losing to Rich Swann. Myers fires Mandy Lemons because he is uncoachable. He also tells Sam Beale that he is cut, but he still asks his former mentor if he will sign his picture. Myers gets VSK to do it for him. It looks like The Learning Tree has been trimmed out.
– Scott D’Amore gets in to a contract signing with Decay and The IInspiration’s barrister. Rosemary really wants to sign it in blood, and not ink, but Scott is looking to keep it traditional. They intimidate The IInspiration’s barrister some and call him a virgin.
#4. Trey Miguel vs. Alex Zayne — Winner: Trey Miguel
After the match, Steve Maclin attacks Trey Miguel, but is then attacked by Bullet Club. They take him down and then turn their attention to Miguel, who they punch too sweetly in the nuts. For life.
Christian Cage & Josh Alexander are talking at the end of the show again, and the champ doesn’t think his challenger can handle the pressure. Alexander compares his current situation to when Christian jumped to Impact in 2005. At Bound For Glory, he brings the Impact World Championship home where it belongs. He’s going to slam the forbidden door in his face, and let the world know if anyone dares to step through it, the best wrestler in the world will be stood there.
Christian says he isn’t even the best wrestler in Canada. Nothing will change at Bound For Glory. Finally, Josh gets angry and attacks Christian. Security rush out to break it up. What started with mutual respect has devolved in to a heated rivalry. See you at Bound For Glory.
