Without delving into any specifics, negotiations have reopened with myself and the WWE. In order to make sense of what the WWE will be receiving regarding my trademark, lets start with the name itself, “Superstars” As of now I am the sole owner of this term when it comes to sports entertainment. WWE has been calling their male wrestlers superstars for the better part of the 2000’s. They have produced wrestling programming under this name several times, but they are unable to air the original content on their network. As many of you with the WWE Network know, there is a lot of content not allowed on the network because of court orders. With them being allowed the usage of “Superstars” more content will be available for your viewing pleasure.

WWA and WWE. They look almost similar, and when you search for WWA you’re redirected to WWE. This causes a likelihood of confusion. One of my main issues and gripes with the WWE was that they never acknowledged this issue. I have lost business due to the confusion of the lettering. WWE purchasing my marks will make this issue all but a distant memory for me.

We fully understand the legal power that the WWE posses with their legal staff. I also want to acknowledge that they have the power to take my marks through legal means, but I truly believe that they want to purchase the marks instead of taking that route. On the other hand the only thing that I am asking for is what I put into the marks as well as shares in the company. The money for the shares will come from the settlement agreement. I want to do this because I believe in the company. So I pray and hope that we can resolve this matter as soon as possible and that both sides can come to a reasonable agreement. I am not currently in the best condition health wise.

So in closing, Its taken us 20+ plus years to reach this impasse, but I do firmly believe that we are almost at the conclusion.
