Who Will John Cena’s Mystery Opponent Be At Hell In A Cell? 5 Possible Names

TRENDING

John Cena will be facing a mystery opponent at the Hell In A Cell PPV for his United States Championship belt. There is no clues yet as to who it will be. Will it be a veteran return? Someone from the Raw roster? Or will it be someone from NXT? One can only speculate. Either way, when WWE hide something like this, it’s usually a nice surprise.

John will be taking a long hiatus from WWE after the PPV which gives whomever his opponent may be a very good chance of having a major win.

The question is, Who will this opponent be?

Here are my top 5 picks:

#5 Sami Zayn

Most NXT talent coming up to the main roster made some pretty big statements Sami was one of them. He debuted on Raw earlier in the year, unfortunately he suffered an injury to his shoulder. Sami’s been on the sidelines ever since. Will Sami be making a return at the HIAC PPV? I guess we’ll find out soon enough.

#4 Samoa Joe

Joe is a big dude. For a man his size to do what he does is truly incredible. Joe has the star power from his days with ROH and TNA. He truly made his mark as most fans already know who he is. Currently feuding for the NXT Championship, Joe has all the right tools to take Cena’s title.

Is now the time for Samoa Joe to make his mark in WWE?

#3 Finn Balor

Balor has all the attributes to be a big star. What better time to debut at a PPV and defeat the 15 time World Heavyweight Champion John Cena? Balor is NXT Champion. Still, Kevin Owens was NXT Champion when he debuted by defeating Cena. It’s a long-shot, but he’s worthy of the prize.

#2 Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin is one of those guys, you either like him, or you don’t. Fortunately for him, i like his style. He has a good presence, a nice set of moves and has that heel look. Baron could be the guy, i think he’s ready to make the jump to the main roster.

#1 Daniel Bryan

Last, but certainly not least. Bryan is my top pick.

Imagine the pop if Daniel Bryan was to walk out as the mystery opponent on Sunday night, the crowd will go crazy. Daniel has been out of action with a number of injuries this year. He claims he’s ready to get back into the ring.

Over the last few week there hasn’t been much of an update on Bryan or barely any news. Any wonder why this is? My guess is he is ready and roaring to go, but will Vince pull the trigger? I think so, this is the reason why Daniel is my top pick as the mystery opponent.

It will also give WWE a boost to have a returning Daniel Bryan back in the fold.

Thanks for reading.

(If you have the time please leave your pick as to who the mystery opponent may be) Much appreciated.
