AEW pulled MJF from their merchandise and roster pages last week in addition to their social media accounts no longer following him. This is part of the ongoing issues where MJF is upset with Tony Khan and his contract as he demanded to be fired last week on Dynamite.
Fightful Select reports that MJF had spoken with Tony Khan at Rampage the day before the meet & greet and flight booking during Double or Nothing weekend, but it’s unclear how that conversation went or if that led to what followed the next day.
MJF was not present at the WarnerMedia/Discovery/AEW party after last week’s Dynamite. He was not at Rampage in Ontario, CA last Friday.
MJF remained in Los Angeles for several days. It was said that MJF has had a growing interest in pursuing Hollywood opportunities, according to his friends and other sources.
MJF has been speaking more about the possibility of getting into acting. He had mentioned this in an interview with Ariel Helwani a few months ago.
People within AEW have heard that MJF had meetings set up last week in LA later in the week to possibly explore that route.
