It has been just under a year since former AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter has wrestled a match. She lost the title to Toni Storm at last year’s AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view event.
According to a report from Pwinsider, Hayter suffered an undisclosed injury in May of last year. This led to the quick title change at Double or Nothing 2023.
It has also been confirmed that Hayter is not in Las Vegas, NV this weekend for Double or Nothing 2024.
In other injury news, ROH Women’s World Champion Athena suffered a legitimate injury during the ROH TV tapings earlier this month.
Pwinsider is reporting that Athena was not in attendance for last night’s ROH TV tapings in Las Vegas as she continues to deal with an ankle injury. There is no word on when she’ll be able to return.
